A beautiful place to stay. The location is close to Sevenoaks, the cottage is in beautiful grounds, with easy parking. The host is super friendly and helpful. The cottage is lovely inside, warm ( March) , cosy, comfortable bedrooms and sitting room. The kitchen was well stocked, and a lovely place to sit and enjoy meals ( any noise from the heating was minimal). The upstairs bathroom was spacious but we preferred the walk in shower downstairs. It is hard to find any faults, we absolutely loved our stay and are keen to return as we visit the Sevenoaks area a couple of times a year.
Thank you for your lovely review, we are so glad that you have enjoyed your stay at Coach House.
Goed ontvangst, comfortabel huis en veel uitstapjes in de buurt mogelijk. Komen zeker nogmaals terug.
Lovely cottage in beautiful location. Kind and helpful owner. Great holiday!
We had a wonderful time at this charming English countryside cottage. The blend of modern amenities with classic decor created a cozy atmosphere. The stunning views and serene surroundings provided a perfect escape.
A very comfortable cottage with a lovely owner right in the centre of many National Trust properties and lovelyplaces to dine. The only reason no5 stars is that the paddock and patio areas were not secure for our dog. We will definitely return.
An absolutely wonderful and relaxed cottage to spend your time off.
This cottage is in a lovely location and very comfortable, clean and cosy - exceptionally quiet at night - with excellent dog walks within walking distance from the property. Very attractive outlook when we stayed in Spring with spectacular magnolia tree and spring bulbs in flower. Cottage was renovated some ten years ago - not recently - so owner confirmed some appliances to be replaced soon eg hob which was slow to heat up. Parking could be closer to cottage but would then spoil pretty garden outlook! Ocado deliver groceries there. We’ll definitely stay again.
The Coach House was the perfect stay for my dog and me before we traveled on. It is as described. We especially loved the proximity to footpaths and gorgeous landscape. The property manager was lovely. During my stay, I was in the middle of moving to a different country and very distracted. Rural Retreats was especially accommodating. Thank you!
Very nice location in a small hamlet. Good accomodation - warm and comfortable. A few bathroom problems will need sorting soon.
Well equipped, clean, good size property in a great location. I walked to Igtham Mote and to Sevenoaks across the fields. Only 4 stars because there were maintenance issues. Upstairs bathroom door didn't close without me throwing my weight against it. Wife couldn't close it at all. Broken tiles from the front of the bath stacked against the toilet. We particularly chose the property because of the glass doors leading from the kitchen to the outside area. This door was locked permanently. Owner told me that she did this to stop leaves and water blowing in. This only leaves one door as access to the property and is a potential fire risk? Constant noise from the unshielded, large heat exchange/boiler in the kitchen was annoying and stopped us using the only dining table most of the time. Back to 5 stars if the maintenance issues are sorted and the kitchen door is unlocked. Currently the property is not worth its premium cost. Btw, I'm male, not female
It was 5 star, What more can I say?
Idyllic location, lovely premises and delightful hamper and welcome. We shall return!
Such a beautiful cottage and lovely, accommodating host! We had a wonderful stay and can highly recommend this property. The host went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable.
The Coach House is rather special. It has been beautifully renovated and nestles into the hillside as if made for the location. The owner is very welcoming and helped make for a great Christmas
Lovely country cottage, if you like cooking or baking the kitchen is one of the best stocked that I've come across. Owners were really flexible and helpful. Would recommend.
A lovely peaceful cottage.
Very tastefully decorated with an exceptionally warm welcome from the owner. Fabulous position with a walk through lavender fields to Ightam Moat National Trust House.
We loved this place, tranquil, relaxing yet on the doorstep of some great places to visit, a great host too! Looking forward to a return visit soon.
Secluded location. Perfect for couple getaway with dog
